Saturday, the nighttime band is The Good Sam Club Band. They play a wide variety of music from Buddy Holly, to Buck Owens, Lynyrd Skynyrd, B.B. King, The Doors, The Who, Johnny Cash, and so much more!
Can vendors still register? Vendor registration is still underway.  Last year’s vendor count was 72. The goal is to exceed that number this year.
How do venders register?  What is the fee? What if it rains? Vendor forms are available on Facebook at  BFV.BucknerMo, or an application request can be emailed to:  bfv.bucknermo@gmail.com.  The fee is $25 for a 10 x 10 spot. This event runs rain or shine. No refunds are given for weather-related issues.
What streets will occupy the event?  Hudson Street between Adams and Washington.
Festivities are set to begin on Friday, September 22 at 5 p.m. until  10 p.m. This year’s parade theme is, “We are Family.” Participants are encouraged to dress as members of their own family, TV families, or famous families. It is free to enter the parade. That form can be downloaded on Facebook or requested by email.

There will be events happening on the stage throughout the day. This year also includes the crowd favorite cute baby and cute dog contests.

This year’s event – and  every year – is well anticipated and is a way to bring together the people of Buckner and surrounding communities. Everyone is invited to come out and have a great time with family and friends.
The festival committee is always looking for fresh faces and ideas.  If you would like to present your suggestion, ideas or thoughts please feel free to attend a festival meeting. Festival meetings are held the second Thursday of each month,  7 p.m. at City Hall.
